Meet Bill

William Bloomfield is an American actor, producer, and 3-D visual artist.* He relishes playing characters with a mission in life, strong beliefs, and who’ll fight for others. He also has the gift to make you laugh.

Bill’s first professional gig was in the original cast of Pulitzer Prize winner, Paul Green’s Trumpet In The Land. Moving to New York he hit the ground running, studying, and auditioning like crazy. Within a year Bill appeared on NBC’s The Doctors and began producing and directing original content for one of the first educational theatres in the US. Then he took a long break….

That decision turned into 30-plus years of collaborating with public/private leaders to improve the futures of thousands of young people facing a range of education, college, and career barriers in the US and globally. He holds a PhD. from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management.

Yet, the acting bug never left and Bill’s thrilled to be back. He’s committed to creating characters with authenticity and emotional focus and is increasingly seen as a compelling performer who’s, also, a pleasure to work with.

He lives in Lexington, MA with his wife, son, and two incredibly cute Turkish Von cats.
